Services include general medical, surgical, HDU, palliative care, rehabilitation and aged care facilities. The hospital enjoys a reputation for high quality care. St Vincent’s is seeking to fill the following positions:

POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 

 Registered Nurse Oncology

Reporting directly to the Nurse Unit Manager, the Oncology Registered Nurse assists in the provision of high quality care and support to our patients within 10 chair Day Oncology Unit. The Oncology Registered Nurse specialises in the treatment and education of patients and their families with regard to treatment protocols.

To be considered, applicants will need to possess the following:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills within a team environment
  • Previous oncology experience is preferable
  • Experience in PICC/Port IV cannulation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible and available to work all shifts on a rotating roster

Registered Nurse Nephrology

Reporting directly to the Nurse Unit Manager, the Registered Nurse assists in the provision of high quality care and support to our patients within our 10 chair Renal Dialysis Unit. The Registered Nurse specialises in the treatment and education of fellow employees, patients and their families with regard to treatment protocols.

To be considered, applicants will need to possess the following:

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Post graduate qualifications in nephrology desirable
  • Well developed interpersonal and leadership skills within a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible and available to work all shifts on a rotating roster
  • Proven experience working within a renal dialysis unit
