St Vincents Thanks its Long Serving Staff
According to Joy Scott, the highlights of her 40 years of service at St Vincent’s Private Hospital are in her daily work. Mrs Scott was acknowledged at St Vincents’ Long Service Awards Presentation for her 40 years of dedication and loyalty.
“The highlights of my career are meeting and greeting people; helping them, so really my whole job is a highlight”, said Mrs Scott.
Mrs Scott was one of 114 staff members who were recognised for their years of service, with the Bishop of Lismore, Most Reverend Geoffrey Jarrett presenting the Awards to staff and thanking them for their commitment to the Diocesan Hospital.
Mr Bob Walsh, CEO of St Vincent’s Private Hospital said that the great work of the Hospital’s staff is reflected with the continual positive feedback from the patients.
“We know our staff care about our patients and it is wonderful we can recognise their loyalty to the Hospital for their years of service,” said Mr Walsh.
Mrs Julie Sackley who recently retired, was also recognised for 30 years of nursing at the Hospital.
“Staff members like Joy and Julie are positive representatives of the Hospital and we are very appreciative of their service to the Hospital,” said Mr Walsh.
The Years of Service Awards were presented to staff who have achieved 40, 30, 25, 20, 15, 10 and 5 years of service.
