St. Josephs Aged Care Facility
St Josephs is an accredited 60 bed high care facility, providing accommodation and wholistic care for the frail aged with provision of Dementia Specific and Palliative Care Services.
Co-located within the grounds of St Vincents Private Hospital, St Josephs has direct access to Clinical specialists from St Vincents Private who provide staff education and specialised consultation in accordance to individual needs of each resident. Specialty services include Palliative Care, Diabetes Education, Clinical Nurse Specialist Consultation, Dietetics, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy.
A medical emergency team is available 24/7 to residents requiring emergency treatment. This includes access to St Vincent’s Hospital Medical Officer.
Residents have many and varied activities available to them under the guidance of the Activity Officer.
