Best care, right here in the NSW Northern Rivers
Over 100 years providing compassionate care in the region
St Vincent’s Hospital stands proudly on Widjabul and Wiyabal Country, with a history rooted in care and community.
In 1920, the Sisters of Charity answered a request from the Most Reverend John Joseph Carroll, Bishop of Lismore, to establish a Catholic hospital. By December 1921, their vision became reality as the first patients were admitted to a two-story weatherboard residence on Dalley Street.
