We have two cafes for sit-down and take-away meals.

Friends Cafe (Dalley St entrance)
8.30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Friends Tea rooms (Avondale Ave entrance)
8:30am – 12:00pm, Monday to Friday

Friends shuttle service

A volunteer operated buggy for transport to and from your car.

Available Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm, the Friends Shuttle service is available to pick you up from public parking areas and take you directly to the front entrances of the Hospital.

We thank the Friends of St Vincent’s and the local service clubs for the maintenance and running of this invaluable service.

Day rehabilitation

The Day Rehabilitation Program is designed specifically for patients who require a co-ordinated approach to rehabilitation. The program is in a day therapy setting. Referrals are accepted after any hospital admission due to recent illness, surgery, injury or deconditioning.

The program is designed to improve general health, function, mobility, balance, and to enhance recovery. It is offered in a group atmosphere where patients complete their individualised program in a friendly, supportive environment.

The program offers patients quality, comprehensive treatment with a multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Allied Health assistants.

Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy is offered as part of the Day Rehabilitation Program. Patients don’t need to be able to swim to participate. The pool has accessible change rooms, and the pool is heated to a comfortable 34 degrees Celsius.

Program Times:

Patients must agree to attending the 2-3 hour program, twice per week. Program duration – 5-6 weeks (depending on health fund & client needs).

Orthopaedic Program:

  • Monday & Wednesday 1.00-3.30pm
  • Reconditioning Program:
  • Tuesday & Thursday 9.00-11.30am OR 1.00-3.30pm

What to Bring:

  • Suitable covered footwear and comfortable gym clothing
  • Swimming costume (for hydrotherapy pool)
  • Any medications required (eg pain tablets, insulin, nitro spray, asthma medication)

Chapel

Catholic Mass is held every Wednesday at 12 noon

The Hospital Chapel is located within the hospital at the Dalley Street entrance, left of Reception.

The Hospital Chapel is available 24/7 for families, staff, volunteers and patients/residents.

Catholic Mass is held every Wednesday at 12 noon for all who wish to attend (non-Catholics very welcome).

Chapel Services are broadcast to the wards on Channel 113.

Other Services

Chapel Services are broadcast to the wards on Channel 113. This is available for patients who cannot make it to the chapel.

A Catholic TV channel is available on the ward TVs.

Memorial services are offered to support people in dealing with grief.

New Testaments and Psalms are available to all patients, and volunteers will happily read passages at the bedside for vision-impaired patients.

Prayer requests can be left anonymously in the letter box slot at the Pastoral Care Services office located near the Avondale Avenue entrance.

Epic Pharmacy Lismore, located at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, is dedicated to delivering exceptional medication management and pharmacy services to the local community. The pharmacy specialises in general health and wellbeing, diabetes, oncology medicine advice, antiviral medications, inpatient and hospital discharge support, medication reviews and access to medications that are not commonly found in community pharmacies.
