Jenni Prosser is an experienced Nurse Unit Manger, who will help to
- Assist GPs and specialists with direct admissions from their clinics
- Manage inpatient cases
- Length of Stay
- Manage medical documentation
- Facilitate patient transfers from other healthcare facilities
For practitioners without admitting rights at St Vincent’s, Jenni can arrange an accepting doctor and streamline the admission process to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Career Medical Officer (CMO)
Introducing our Lead Career Medical Officer
Dr Andrew Pearson joins us this year, from a major 500+ bed private facility in Brisbane, where he served as Head CMO for more than 30 years. Andrew supports the growth of our Resident Medical Officer (RMO) team as we move to a 24/7 onsite cover model, implementing advanced training for nurses, and is actively increasing the acuity of St Vincent’s for more complete patient care.

Open access endoscopy
Refer your patient directly to a gastroenterologist for a procedure.
Open Access Endoscopy is available at St Vincent’s Lismore and is an alternate referral pathway enabling you to refer a patient directly to a gastroenterologist for a procedure, without the need for a specialist appointment.
Patients with certain indicators may not be suitable for open access and will be reviewed for suitability by a Gastroenterologist (please refer to the Endoscopy Services Referral Form below).
Northern Rivers Gastroenterology manage the bookings for the Open Access Program and all paperwork is to be sent directly to their rooms.
