Dr Rabbolini focuses his practice to the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of non-cancerous blood disorders including:
- Venous (DVT, PTE, other) and arterial thrombotic disorders (including anti-phospholipid
- syndrome and other complex thrombotic disorders)
- Bleeding disorders (von Willebrand disease, rare factor deficiencies and haemophilia, platelet
- bleeding disorders and thrombocytopenia)
- Immune/autoimmune conditions (like ITP)
- Uncharacterised bruising or bleeding disorders
- Bleeding and thrombotic disorders in pregnancy
- Investigation and management of abnormal blood counts (high and low) and disorders of iron
- metabolism (haemachromatosis)
- Peri-operative strategies for patients with bleeding/thrombotic disorders and those on anti-coagulants.
