Acknowledged by nurses as a good deal
Good News! In December last year a deal was voted up by St Vincent’s nursing staff to approve a proposed Enterprise Bargaining Agreement which was hailed by the nurse’s union as a solid offer, and acknowledged by nurses as a good deal.
The EBA proposed incremental wage increases over the next 2 years, as well as increased study allowances, leave, super paid on parental leave, higher night shift penalties, public holiday allowance, carer & parental leave. It’s a significant achievement, and alongside St Vincent’s recent salary packaging increase, means ALL staff at our hospital can take advantage of some fantastic employment conditions this year!
