St Vincent’s Lismore’s Endoscopy Unit provides a modern and comfortable unit for your day procedures.
Along with specialist referral, St Vincent’s provides a streamlined ‘Open Access’ referral system. This allows the admission process to be initiated directly from your General Practitioner, significantly decreasing waiting times.
Northern Rivers Gastroenterology manage the bookings for the Open Access Program and all paperwork is to be sent directly to their rooms.

Outstanding Accreditation Results
We are proud to report St Vincent’s received a perfect score across all safety and quality standards in its recent ACHS health standards review. Three assessors over three days, and the hospital demonstrated compliance across eight National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards with zero unmet requirements, and no recommendations.
Successful EA Agreement for Nurses
Good News! In December last year a deal was voted up by St Vincent’s nursing staff to approve a proposed Enterprise Bargaining Agreement which was hailed by the nurse’s union as a solid offer, and acknowledged by nurses as a good deal.
